The 2026 Operation Bullseye Event is now less than a month away and anticipation continues to intensify ahead of what promises to be another highly distinguished occasion within both the darts and military communities. PDC world number 13 and multiple title winner Chris Dobey has been called into action.
On Thursday 2nd July, Bradmoor Farm in Aylesbury will provide the setting for an exceptional collaboration between sixteen renowned figures from the world of darts and sixteen accomplished representatives drawn from across His Majesty’s Armed Forces. What began as a relatively modest initiative has undergone a remarkable metamorphosis into an event of considerable international prominence, attracting widespread attention and fostering an ever-expanding network of support.
DARTS PLAYER MERCHANDISE AND COLLECTABLES AT OUR DARTSWORLD STORE!
The official draw, fittingly, was conducted at the historic Tower of London, an institution whose cultural and constitutional significance has endured for centuries. Such an illustrious venue underlines the elevated stature which Operation Bullseye has attained in recent years.
Joining the distinguished contingent of professional darts players are competitors representing the British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force, alongside several former servicemen and veterans. Their participation epitomises the spirit of camaraderie, cooperation and mutual respect which lies at the very nucleus of the event.
At the heart of Operation Bullseye is its unwavering commitment to charitable endeavour. Conceived through the vision and dedication of Zara Durrant, niece of three-time Lakeside World Champion Glen Durrant, the initiative has evolved into a highly respected enterprise that continues to generate invaluable support for causes of profound importance.

All proceeds from the event will contribute towards Healing Military Minds, an organisation whose work provides indispensable assistance to members of the armed forces community. The charity remains deeply valued by everyone associated with Operation Bullseye, and its continued development stands as a testament to the altruism and magnanimity demonstrated by those involved.
The draw itself has produced several intriguing encounters. Belgian star Dimitri Van den Bergh will partner Danny Humphries as they face the experienced pairing of Deta Hedman and Chris Harvey. Three-time Lakeside World Champion Glen Durrant joins forces with Jamie Gibson, with the duo set to encounter Scott Williams and Corporal Darren Morton in what promises to be a compelling contest.
Ricky Evans will team up with Air Specialist Spencer in a first-round meeting against Justin Hood and Daniel Appleby, while former World Matchplay champion Colin Lloyd and Jaspar Scarrott have been drawn against Chris Mason and Connor MaGowan.
Another noteworthy pairing sees Devon Petersen and Gareth Edwards take on Alan Soutar and Commander Whittles, whilst Chris Dobey and Corporal McMahon will face the experienced combination of Tony O’Shea and Mark Bower.
Elsewhere, Keegan Brown once again partners Vince Tipple, while long-standing supporters of Operation Bullseye, Alan Soutar and James Richardson, will also be present. The event further benefits from the participation of numerous respected figures from throughout the sport, thereby enhancing an already distinguished assembly of competitors.
Providing the officiating and score-calling duties will be the legendary Russ Bray alongside leading Professional Darts Corporation referee and DartsWorld columnist Huw Ware, adding yet further prestige to an occasion that continues to flourish with each passing year.
Ultimately, the outcomes on the dartboard are of secondary importance. The true beneficiaries of the evening will be the Defence Darts Community and the charitable organisations which rely upon the generosity and benevolence generated through events of this nature.
