ADC Confirm Regional Finals For Vault 18

Diamond Draws Competitions

While the eyes of the darts world have been fixed on Blackpool this week, another significant date has been locked into the calendar away from the bright lights of the Winter Gardens.

The Amateur Darts Circuit confirmed on Friday that every Regional Final for Series 18 of its VAULT competition has now been submitted, with dates, start times and venues officially locked in across all eleven regions of the UK and Ireland.

For anyone who hasn’t followed the ADC’s rapid growth since its founding in 2022, VAULT is the organisation’s flagship grassroots series. A structured, fast-paced format designed to bring players together on a regular basis, with a clear pathway running from local venue nights all the way up to National Finals and, ultimately, a place in the Global Championship.

It has become one of the most significant developments in the amateur game in recent years, now paying out more than £1 million annually in prize money across its regional tables alone, with the wider ADC ecosystem now exceeding £1.8 million combined yearly payouts.

Each VAULT series runs for seven weeks, with players able to compete as often as they like in pursuit of ranking points, before the series culminates in a run of Regional Finals during the following three-week break.

Any player who has competed in five events during the series is eligible to attend, and it’s here that the real business gets done. The top performers in each regional table go on to qualify for the National Finals, which in turn feed into the Global Championship at the Live Lounge in Portsmouth, broadcast on Pluto TV to an increasingly large audience.

Series 17’s regional finals produced some notable names among the winners’ lists, including former World Championship quarter-finalist William Borland and former PDC World Youth Championship James Hubbard, underlining the calibre of player now coming through the ADC’s ranks alongside those simply looking to test themselves at a higher level.

For players who haven’t yet built the average to compete at the sharp end of VAULT, the ADC’s LEVEL UP pathway, run in partnership with DartsWorld since earlier this year, offers a parallel structure graded by running average,. This ensures there is a competitive, appropriately-pitched event for developing players on the same finals days.

With Series 18 having got underway on 29 June, the regional finals now confirmed mark the point where several weeks of local competition start to translate into real opportunity.

Players across the country will now know exactly when and where their route to the next stage runs through.
