Berry Van Peer, Lee Evans, Zvonimir Lesic, Reece Colley and Scott Campbell all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the MODUS Super Series, to join Jack Drayton, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
In Group B, Berry Van Peer topped the group overall after winning three of his four matches on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Devon Petersen, George Cressey and Scott Campbell, with his only defeat coming against Reece Colley, to end on 12 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Reece Colley and Scott Campbell also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Colley ending on 12 points and Campbell on 10 points, whilst George Cressey finished 4th on 4 points and Devon Petersen bottom on 2 points
Evans, who entered Friday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after winning three of his five matches.
The Englishman recorded victories against Neil Wild, Michael Huntley and Ryan Branley, with his two defeats coming against Connor Hopkins and Zvonimir Lesic, to end on 14 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Zvonimir Lesic also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 12 points, edging past Ryan Branley who also ended on 12 points, but missed out in 3rd due to leg difference, whilst Connor Hopkins and Michael Huntley finished 4th and 5thon 10 points each, with Neil Wild finishing bottom on 2 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Two with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with the action commencing from 7:30pm BST.
