Derek Coulson seized control of Group A on Tuesday at the Live Lounge in Portsmouth, powering clear at the top of the table as Week Six of Series 15 continued.
The recent Champions Week winner and Welsh form horse added several emphatic victories, including whitewashes of Patrick Dekker and Gary Mawson plus a solid win over early leader James Hubbard.
Coulson’s consistency and high averages underlined why he remains one of the most dangerous operators on the Super Series circuit.

Dutchman Jamai van den Herik stayed firmly in the chase with a strong day that included a clinical 4-0 over Mawson and a narrow victory against David Munyua.
Hubbard, who had topped the standings after Day One with four wins from five, found the going tougher and slipped down the order, though he still claimed some useful results.
Kenyan star Munyua (fresh from his eye-catching run at the PDC World Championship) and North American Gary Mawson continued to show the international flavour of the group, both picking up wins, while Patrick Dekker mixed some solid performances with heavier defeats.
Play continues on Wednesday, with the top of the group still very much alive as the six players battle for the automatic Finals Night berth and the remaining qualification places.
