The WADC Winmau Championship North Season reaches its climax this weekend, with Events 9 to 12 set to decide the destination of top spot in a tight race at the summit of the table.
Eight players from the North table will punch their ticket to the Grand Final at the MODUS Live Lounge in Portsmouth, but it’s the very top of the table where the biggest prize sits. Only the North’s number one earns passage through the ADC Global Championship in December, where the winner alone banks £60,000.

With just a single Global Championship spot on offer, this weekend’s battle between the top two carries considerably more weight than the standings alone suggest.
It’s a weekend with extra significance for Darts World too, with Natalie Gilbert, columnist of Gilbert’s Gazette, right in the mix for a table-topping finish and route through to the Grand final and beyond. Two victories and a runner up spot, amid other strong performances, have made Middlesbrough a happy hunting ground in 2026 for the Warwickshire arrowsmith.
Tamworth based Natalie currently leads the standings on 186 points, but the margin is a slender one. Sweden’s Vicky Pruim (above) sits just 14 points behind on 172, keeping the table topping battle firmly alive heading into the final weekend.
Kim Holden (161) and Steph Clarke (146) both remain within touching distance too, meaning the destination of first place, and the qualification implications that come with it, could go down to the final matches of the season.

Behind the leading four, Angela Kirkwood (130) and Lauryn Salter (102) round out the top six, with the qualification picture for the places below likely to sharpen considerably over the course of the weekend’s four events.
