Luke Humphries begins his bid for a third successive ČEZ Czech Darts Open title this weekend, with the draw and schedule for the 2026 European Tour event in Prague now confirmed.
The action gets underway at the PVA EXPO from September 4-6, where world number one Luke Littler headlines a stacked field as the European Tour season continues in the Czech capital.

Friday’s opening round features 16 matches across a busy double session. Among the standout ties is a renewal of the rivalry between Daryl Gurney and Beau Greaves. Greaves averaged an impressive 104.88 in defeat to Rob Cross on her European Tour debut last week and will be targeting a landmark victory against Gurney, who edged their five-set thriller at last year’s World Darts Championship.
The winner of that tasty Gurney versus Greaves tie will have earned the right to take on reigning champion Humphries in their second match. Cool Hand has returned to title winning form in recent weeks and will be looking to continue into the peak Autumn period.
Elsewhere on Friday, 2022 Czech Darts Open runner-up Rob Cross faces Irish talent Keane Barry, while Kevin Doets takes on Ricky Evans in an intriguing clash.
Baltic Sea Darts Open champion Luke Woodhouse opens the evening session against Connor Scutt, German number one Martin Schindler meets Rob Owen, Ryan Joyce faces 2024 finalist Kim Huybrechts, and Callan Rydz has a tough assignment against Cristo Reyes, with the Spaniard looking to boost his hopes of a World Grand Prix return later this month.

The top 16 seeds on the PDC Order of Merit enter the tournament in round two on Saturday. Littler makes his first European Tour appearance since March’s Belgian Darts Open and will face either Niko Springer or Slovakian youngster Martin Homola. Humphries, chasing a fourth Czech Darts Open crown overall, awaits the winner of Gurney versus Greaves.
Other notable second-round possibilities include Dutch number one Gian van Veen against Niels Zonneveld or Jeffrey de Graaf, and Michael van Gerwen potentially locking horns with fellow Dutchman Dirk van Duijvenbode (who plays Mario Vandenbogaerde in round one).
Jonny Clayton could meet Australian number one Damon Heta for a place in the last 16, with Heta drawn against a Host Nation representative. Callan Rydz and Cristo Reyes will battle for the right to face sixth seed Gerwyn Price, while Hungarian Darts Trophy runner-up Gary Anderson prepares to take on World Cup partner Cameron Menzies or Sweden’s Johan Engstrom.
Hungarian Darts Trophy champion Ross Smith starts his bid for back-to-back European Tour titles against either Joe Cullen or Stephen Burton, and Jermaine Wattimena and Krzysztof Ratajski could produce a repeat of July’s European Darts Open final.
After Saturday’s second-round action, the last 16 will be contested on Sunday afternoon, before the tournament reaches a climax with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in a blockbuster evening session.
Live coverage of the Czech Darts Open will be streamed on DAZN for viewers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with additional coverage available on CANAL+ SPORT 5 and via the CANAL+ streaming service in Poland.
