Luke Littler made a swift trip to Germany as The Nuke collected the Weltmeister-Award at the Sport Bild Awards in Hamburg. The 19-year-old star was recognised for becoming the youngest world champion in darts history and for retaining the Sid Waddell Trophy at Alexandra Palace earlier this year.
Sport Bild, Europe’s largest sports magazine, staged its 24th awards night at the Fischauktionshalle in front of around 700 guests. Littler posted on Instagram:
“Day trip to Germany for the @sport_bild awards class night thanks for having us.”
The Nuke attended with girlfriend Faith Millar and walked the red carpet before collecting the honour. Other recipients on the night included Uli Hoeneß (Legenden-Award), Julia Taubitz (Olympia-Award) and Alexander Zverev (Star of the Year).
The visit marked another high-profile stop on a year in which Littler has continued to dominate the PDC circuit as world number one. Back-to-back world titles have placed him among the most decorated players of the modern era, with only Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen holding more major singles crowns.

It was also a return to Germany after he and Luke Humphries lifted the World Cup of Darts for England. Littler has previously spoken about mixed receptions on German stages, but the Hamburg evening was framed as a celebration of his record-breaking rise rather than a competitive appearance.
The Warrington prodigy has already claimed multiple televised majors in 2026 and remains the central figure in the sport’s surge in popularity.
Collecting an award from one of Germany’s leading sports titles underlines how far that profile now stretches beyond the oche. Littler is expected to return quickly to the PDC calendar after the brief detour.
