Lewis Cook has won the 2026 ADC UK & Ireland Classic, beating Chas Barstow 5-1 in the final, and averaging north of 92 on the way.
A 100 average in the semi-final, a 5-1 demolition in the final, and a trophy at 16. Lewis Cook’s Saturday at Bradmoor Farm could hardly have gone better.
Three 180s and a 75 finish underlined a dominant showing, and the win makes him the youngest champion in the event’s short history.
The £13,000 event, with £3,000 for the champion, was limited to 32 qualified players, and it was a stern test before the final. Cook pipped Archie Self 5-4 in the semi-finals, averaging 100.08 to Self’s 93.52 in a contest that produced six 180s.
Beating Self was no mean feat. He finished in the top four of the ADC Winmau Championship South and has a place at the ADC Global Championship.
Barstow was first into the final, averaging over 93 to edge Jamie Owens in a deciding leg. Owens averaged over 96 in defeat, a cruel way to lose. He knows the feeling of coming so close this season, having lost the Event Ten final of the ADC Winmau Championship North to Jack Main.

For Cook, the title is the latest chapter in a fast-moving year. He won Event Seven of the Winmau Championship South in May and added Event Nine of the North in Middlesbrough in September, finishing fifth in the standings to reach the Tour Finals. He also recently made his debut at the MODUS Super Series in Portsmouth.
Barstow, who finished eighth in the South standings to join Cook at the Tour finals, had to settle for second best, but he can take plenty from a run that saw him through the 32-man field to the final.
