Hayter Retains WADC Vault National Finals Title

Hayter Retains Vault Women’s National Finals Title

Gemma Hayter has made it two in a row at the Vault Women’s National Finals, powering to a 5-1 win over Juliet Findley in the final at Bradmoor Farm.

The Darts World Ambassador banked the title with a £3,000 prize fund, picking up £800 of it, and it caps a remarkable amateur darts year for Gemma.

Her route to the final was marked by control, with one scare along the way. Hayter opened her campaign with a 4-0 win over Karen Gallagher, averaging 76.10 and repeated the scoreline against Keisha Collins in the Last 16.

Zoe Burke was beaten 4-1 in the quarters before a semi-final against Joe Locke that went to a deciding seventh leg.

Locke had topped an 80 average in two earlier rounds, but Hayter’s 81.17 carried her through 4-3. She then conceded just a single leg in the final. Five legs dropped across her five matches.

Hayter was a Vault National Finals winner in 2025 too, whitewashing Lauryn Salter 5-0 in the final with an average of 84.44. Twelve months on, she arrived as the reigning WDF World Masters champion.

That title came in Las Vegas in July, where she beat Italy’s Aurora Fochesato 6-3 in the final, having dropped only eleven legs all week. He group stage was flawless, 16-0, and the run took in a win over reigning WDF world champion Deta Hedman.

The Red Dragon thrower is also leading the way in the WADC Winmau Championship South standings, which picks up again with events 9 to 12 next weekend.

It has been a notable year on the bigger stages too. Hayter made her PDC World Championship debut at Alexandra Palace last December and in 2026 reached the semi-finals of the Women’s World Matchplay, taking Beau Greaves to a last-leg decider.

For Hayter, the win at Bradmoor Farm adds another trophy to a crowded 2026 shelf.
