The WDF circuit heads to Seal Bay Resort in Selsey this week as England Darts hosts a packed weekend of ranked action with the England International Open, England Masters and England Classic all taking place from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October.
The three-day festival brings together WDF-ranked singles competitions across the Open, Women’s, Youth and Girls categories alongside Open and Women’s Pairs and a Mixed Triples event.
The action gets underway on Friday with the England International open, with registration from midday before play begins at 1:30pm. Both the Open and Women’s competitions carry WDF Bronze status, with £500 on offer to the Open winner and £300 for the Women’s champion. The singles events are played over best-of-seven legs through to the semi-finals, with the finals extending to best-of-nine.
Saturday then brings the England Masters, a WDF Silver-ranked event offering a significant step up in prize money. The Open winner will collect £1.500, while the Women’s champion takes home £750, with both finals played over the best of nine legs.
The day will also showcase the next generation, with the England Classic Youth and Girls competitions forming part of the wider festival. Both will feature round-robin stages before progressing into knockout action.
The main England Classic Open and Women’s Singles will then take centre stage on Sunday, with the Open and Women’s winners each taking the Silver-ranked titles and £1,500 and £750 respectively.

England Darts has selected Seal Bay Resort in Selsey as the home for the weekend, following last year’s staging at the same venue.
A tournament with plenty of history
While this year’s festival represents a modern WDF weekend, the England Classic and England Masters have deep roots in the England darts calendar.
The Classic dates back to 2009, with its roll of honour featuring some of the biggest names in the sport. Scott Mitchell, Stephen Bunting, Glen Durrant, Mark McGeeney and Wesley Harms are among the previous men’s champions, while the women’s title has been won by the likes of Trina Gulliver, Deta Hedman, Lisa Ashton and Beau Greaves.
The England Masters is similarly established, with past winners including Daryl Guerney, Andy Baetens and again, Stephen Bunting. The women’s roll of honour includes Trina Gulliver, Lisa Ashton and Paige Pauling.

Recent history has added another chapter. In 2025, Dave Pallett won the England Classic Open, defeating Jimmy Bristow 5-0, while Darts World ambassador Gemma Hayter claimed the Women’s title with a 5-0 victory over Aileen de Graaf.
Neil Duff won the England Masters Open, beating Harry Lane 5-3, with Hayter also taking the Master’s Women’s title after a 5-4 final against Priscilla Steenbergen.
The England International Open is the newer addition to the festival’s history, with records showing its men’s and women’s titles being contested as far back as 2022, when Luke Littler and Lisa Ashton took the respective honours.
The 2026 WDF England Masters and Classic Weekend will take place between Friday 9 October and Sunday 11 October. More information can be found at https://dartswdf.com/.
