Humphries Goes Fourth

Play The Pro Darts Scorer

LUKE Humphries continued his remarkable run in the double-start major by defeating James Wade 5-3 in the second semi-final of the 2026 World Grand Prix at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester.

The world number two, seeking a second title after his 2023 triumph, produced a resilient performance against a typically stubborn Wade.

Humphries recovered from early pressure and closed out the contest to book his place in a fourth consecutive final.

Wade, a two-time champion of the event, pushed hard throughout and claimed several important sets, but Humphries’ consistency proved decisive in the later stages of the best-of-nine-sets match.

Result

Humphries will now face Gerwyn Price in Sunday’s final.
