Lennon Claims Wednesday Warrior Spot at MODUS Super Series

Steve Lennon claimed the automatic Finals Night berth from Group A after three tightly contested days of MODUS Super Series action. The Irishman finished top of the round-robin with 10 wins from 15 matches, collecting 20 points, a healthy +20 leg difference and the group’s highest average of 87.24.

Niek Tuik produced a superb final-day surge to finish second on 18 points and secure the best remaining Group B place. Danny Trueman took third on 16 points, while Conor Heneghan (also 16 points but behind on leg difference), Alex Spellman and Andreas Harrysson drop into Group C.

Lennon made the top spot uncatchable with key results that included 4-0 victories over Harrysson and Heneghan. Tuik produced the standout performance of the day, effectively running the card in the latter stages with wins over Lennon, Trueman, Spellman, Harrysson and Heneghan to climb into a clear second place.

Trueman secured third despite a mixed bag of results. Heneghan could not quite maintain the challenge and slipped to fourth on leg difference.

What Happens Next

Lennon progresses straight to Saturday’s Finals Night as the “Wednesday Warrior.” Tuik and Trueman join Group B alongside William Borland, Danny Lauby Jr and Lee Cocks. Heneghan, Spellman and Harrysson move into Group C with new entrants Danny Ayres, Oliver Mitchell and Harrison Leigh.
