OVER last weekend, there were four rearranged UKDA National League darts fixtures played, one in the Championship, two in Division One and one in Division Three.
In the championship, London played hosts to Gwent but it didn’t begin well for the home side as the ladies ‘B’ went down 4-2 and the men’s ‘B’ lost 7-5, to see the visitors carry over an 11-7 lead into Sunday.
It was a complete turn-around on day two as London ladies ‘A’ handed out a 6-0 whitewash to their counterparts and the men’s ‘A’ finished all-square at 6-6.
The overall score for the weekend was a narrow 19-17 win for London which sees them move up the table into third place with twenty-two points, just two short of the two teams above them, leaders Leicestershire and second placed Sussex.

In division one Norfolk played hosts to Merseyside and there was nothing to separate either of the ladies teams as both the ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams finished with a 3-3 draw.

It was a different story for the men as the ‘B’ team won 8-4 and the ‘A’ side got the better of their Merseyside opponents with a 7-5 victory.
With a 21-15 overall win, Norfolk have taken over the leadership for the division from Salopian and top the table with twenty-four points, one more than second and third placed Northamptonshire and Salopian.
Northamptonshire earned their number two spot with a 20-16 home win over Humberside and it was really thanks to the ladies as the men’s ‘A’ lost 7-5 and the men’s ‘B’ were held to a 6-6 draw. The ladies ‘A’ won 4-2 and the ladies ‘B’ went one better with a 5-1 success.
In division three Northumberland played hosts to County Durham. Saturday’s games saw County Durham’s ladies ‘B’ win 4-2 and with a 7-5 win for Durham’s men’s ‘B’ they went into Sunday’s ‘A’ games with an 11-7 lead.
As the games resumed, won the men’s ‘A’ game 7-5 it was not enough to avoid a 19-17 defeat for the weekend.
