Price Powers Into World Grand Prix Final

Play The Pro Darts Scorer

GERWYN Price produced a strong and controlled performance to defeat Nathan Aspinall 5-2 in the first semi-final of the 2026 World Grand Prix at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester.

The Welshman, champion in 2020 and twice a runner-up, booked his place in Sunday’s final with a clinical display against an Aspinall side that never quite found the fluency shown in earlier rounds.

Price took control after the opening exchanges and maintained a consistent scoring and finishing level throughout the best-of-nine-sets contest.

Aspinall, who had averaged over 105 in his quarter-final, was unable to generate the same momentum and was ultimately outgunned.

Result

Gerwyn Price 5–2 Nathan Aspinall

Price now waits to face the winner of the second semi-final between Luke Humphries and James Wade in tomorrow night’s final.
