Littler Leads MSS As Hattrick Bid Begins

Luke Littler took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with the ninth week of Series Five commencing at the Modus Super Series. 

The reigning 2x Super Series Champion, Littler, who successfully defended his crown at finals night of Champions Week in Series Four back in August, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four of his five matches.

The 16-years-old recorded victories against Alexander Merkx, Sebastian Bialecki, Patrick Van den Boogaard and Willem Mandigers, with his only defeat coming against Andy Boulton.  

Elsewhere, Alexander Merkx also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2^nd behind Littler on leg difference, whilst Andy Boulton sits in 3^rd on 6 points, Patrick Van den Boogaard in 4^th on 4 points, with Willem Mandigers and Sebastian Bialecki sitting 5^th and 6^th respectively on 2 points each. 

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Littler leading the way thus far.

Play will begin at 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
