Jonny’s New Fix!

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

Newly crowned Dutch Darts Champion Jonny Clayton had more than one reason to beam like a ferret impersonating a Cheshire cat this weekend.

Fresh off claiming his third Euro Tour title – and just for a change, one outside of Austria – the Welshman was already riding high. As if being crowned champion in Rosmalen wasn’t sweet enough, the proud Liverpool fan also watched his beloved Reds lift the Premier League trophy. In darting terms, that’s something Jonny knows a thing or two about himself.

But Clayton wasn’t done celebrating. On Sunday evening, the 50-year-old Llanelli thrower announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he had secured a new sponsorship deal with Fix Radio.

Our Boardroom Team are always pleased to see new brands and companies become involved in the sport and the partnership with the UK’s leading radio station for tradespeople is a natural fit for Clayton, who spent years as a plasterer before his rise to darting stardom.

The sponsorship will run until early 2026 and sees Fix Radio’s branding featured on Clayton’s match and media shirts. The station also plans to launch a range of listener promotions and competitions as part of the collaboration.

Commenting on the deal, Clayton said:
“Fix Radio is a unique station dedicated to tradespeople. As a former plasterer, I’m proud to be working alongside them.”

Fix Radio’s Chief Operating Officer, Rob O’Connell, echoed the enthusiasm:
“We’re really pleased to partner with Jonny, who is not only a world-class darts player but someone with deep roots in the trades. He embodies the spirit of our audience.”

With a Euro Tour title under his belt, his club officially crowned champions, and a new sponsor reflecting his working-class roots, Clayton’s weekend was, in every sense, one to remember.
