World Seniors Darts continues to go from strength to strength, with the recent announcement of this year’s Matchplay event drawing plenty of buzz. On Saturday 15th November, Epsom Racecourse in Derbyshire will host the fourth annual Seniors Darts Matchplay – and it’s shaping up to be a cracker.
Returning to defend his title is The Hunk of Huntly (a nickname absolutely nobody else uses but should), John Henderson, who claimed the crown last October at York’s Barbican Centre. He’ll be joined by reigning World Seniors Champion Ross Montgomery and a whole cast of heavily decorated legends from darts’ golden years.
Also making an appearance is the greatest of them all – Phil The Power’ Taylor. Sadly, he won’t be stepping up to the oche, but he will be taking part in a live Q&A session as part of a rather tasty VIP package. If that whets your appetite, the Legends Lunch ticket includes a two-course meal, premium seating for the event, a chance to meet all the players, and the rare opportunity to hear The Power reflect on his extraordinary career.
All in all, it promises to be a top-tier day of darting nostalgia and live action in Epsom. And here’s your confirmed field so far – ten legends with two more to be announced very soon:
- Ross Montgomery
- Martin Adams
- Steve Beaton
- Neil Duff
- Leonard Gates
- John Henderson
- Richie Howson
- Mervyn King
- Robert Thornton
- Vincent van der Voort
Tickets are available now, so we’ve made it easy. Just click and buy here. See you there!
