The Sheldon and District Winter League have rounded off their season with a few outstanding rearranged fixtures, the most significant of these games being the premier league fixture between the top two teams Langley Arrows and Sheldon Marlborough Arrows, the winners taking the title.
With home advantage plus maximums from both Dan Nicholls and Bobby Nixon, Langley Arrows won the game 7-2 to clinch the title with twenty-eight points, two more than their opponents who had twenty-six, as did third placed Highwood who had a slightly inferior average than Sheldon Marlborough Arrows. Matt Hildebrandt notched maximum for Sheldon Marlborough Arrows.

The Premier League Shadow League title went to Kingshurst Labour Club, who won the title on average as Mackadown Sports and Social Club and Brian’s Flights both finished on the same four points as Kingshurst.
RAFA Arrows were the division one champions, winning the title with thirty points, two more than runners-up Banbury Club.
The division one Shadow League was won by Lyndon Old Boys, once again the Shadow League won on average as Moseley Rugby Club and Langley Flights had the same eight points as the winners.
Division Two was also won average, Langley Pints and Maggies both finishing their campaign with thirty points, Langley Pints having nine legs of average more than Maggies.
Raven Flights were the outright Shadow League winners, their four points, two more than the chasing pack of three, Hunters Moon, Digby and Castle Bromwich Spitfires.

Matthew Cain continues to hold pole position in the Heartlands Sugardarts M&E Co Double Top League, his latest 3-0 wins over Gemma Whatley and George Drennan giving him a total of eighty-six points, however he only has a slender one point lead on second placed Martin Cooper who also won his two games against George Drennan and Sue John 3-0, Cooper hitting a maximum against Drennan. Third placed Steve Cain won 3-0 against Sophie Cain and then had 2-1 wins over Ellis Gundy and John Frost to give him a total of eighty-two points, but he has played one fixture more than the two players above him.
Chalking up the second maximum of the night was Matthew Hoare in his 2-1 win over Adam Rogers.

The South West Birmingham Clubs League have got their new season underway and after the opening two weeks only two teams in division one are able to boast a 100% win record. Stirchley United top the table on average after their latest 6-1 win at Quarry Lane Club. Quarry Lane Club player A.Harvey had breaks of 150 and 105 plus a 100 score but despite this he lost 2-1 to Stirchley’s M.Bathurst. L.Fox (Quarry Lane Club) scored a maximum. A 160 break from A.Fenton helped Kings Norton Ex Serviceman’s Club to a 4-3 win at newly promoted West Heath CEM to put them in second place in the table, two legs of average short of the leaders.
In division two four of the seven teams are unbeaten, E57 with 180’s from N.Smith and C.O’Hara had a 5-2 win at Longbridge Warriors to put them top of the table on average from Northfield Conservative Club ‘A’ after they won by the same 5-2 margin at Bartley Green FC, while third placed Cue Club have only played and won one game so far. Kings Norton Arrows have not played as yet and lie at the foot of the table.

No result for the division one leaders in the Sutton and District League Highcroft Hotdogs but nevertheless they remain top of the division with thirty-two points, two more than both Old Horns Lions and Bishop Vesey, who have now played one game more than the top side. Old Horns Lions won 7-2 at Drakes Drum Bishop Vesey had a 6-3 home win over Old Oscott Arrows whose P.Locke and K.Hands both recorded a 160 break.

A 3-1 win by Jacqueline Maiden over Kelly Aston has seen her go top of the West Midlands Ladies Super League table with 116 points. Second placed Evonne Taylor didn’t play this week, she is on the same 116 points as Maiden but has won twenty-seven of her thirty-three games compared to Maiden’s twenty-eight. Third placed Gemma Barrett had a 3-1 win ove Eloise Milburn to take her points up to 112, although only four points behind the top two players, Barrett has played thirty-four games, one more than the leading duo. Hannah Davies is fourth in the league, she had a 3-1 win over Tara Fullwood, she has 110 points and as only played thirty-three games, while fifth in the league, Jacqui Trott has 104 points from thirty-two games.

Leader of the Amblecote RBL Premier League, Jason Lowe, began week thirteen with a 6-1 win over Dave Edwards and then went one better with a 7-0 success against Shane Passey to see him chalk up 217 points from his thirty games. Nick Fullwell began well with a 7-0 win over Jayden Harper but then surprisingly lost lost 4-3 to Ryan Hardman who is fifth in the league, twenty-four points behind Fullwell and has played one game more than him. The defeat saw Fullwell drop one place to third with 173 points and replacing him in the number two spot is Ian Townsend who on the night won 7-0 against Grant Jackson and 6-1 against Joe Woodhouse to give him a total of 174 points, forty-three fewer than Jason Lowe.

A 6-2 win over Joe Bartolo sees Simon Pritchard hold on to pole position in division one of the Gilbert’s Bar Monday Night Singles League with 116 points. Pritchard has a lead of nine points over second placed Chris Manoila after he was held to a 4-4 draw by Wayne Speed, but he does have a game in hand on Pritchard. Third placed Michael Smith has games in hand on the two players above hum, but he is twenty-four points off the top and reigning champion Scott Baker is fourth on ninety-one points with a huge six games in hand on Simon Pritchard.
In division two Matt Ford takes over the leadership from Wayne Barratt after he beat Liam Davis 8-0 and Barratt didn’t play. Ford has a slender one point lead on Barratt and has played one game more than him. Former leader Neville Quinton is third, he is on 122 points with two games in hand on Ford and one on Barratt after his 5-3 win over Michele Pritchard.

Junction ‘B’ have opened up a ten points lead at the top of the singles league in the Wolverhampton Tuesday Night Darts League, after they won 4-3 at Ashmore, making it thirty-six straight wins for the leaders, and second placed Dog and Partridge ’B’ lost their home game with Wednesfield Legion 4-3. Third placed Gilbert’s Bar ‘B’ are now within two points of Dog and Partridge, their 7-0 success at Junction ‘D’ taking their points tally sixty.
In the doubles league only four points separate the top four teams. Once again its Junction ‘B’ that lead the field, their 3-0 win at Ashmore taking their number of points to fifty-eight. Second placed Gilbert’s Bar ‘B’ also had a 3-0 win at Junction ‘D’ to put them on fifty-six points with a two points lead on both third and fourth placed Golden Lion ‘A’ and New Gate Inn. Golden Lion ‘A’ suffered a 2-1 defeat away to Gilbert’s Bar ‘A’ while New Gate Inn won their home tie with Pheasant 2-1.
