Week ten of MODUS Super Series fourteen heads into the final day of the groups stage with Kaya Baysal and Jim McEwan leading the way after a fantastic days action on Thursday. Five players from Groups B and C will join Wednesday’s warrior Jack Aldridge in tomorrow’s finale.
Both the teenager and the grizzled veteran hold the narrowest of leads, with only leg difference separating the top of both groups.
Kaya leads Group C after gaining wins from five attempts including a (4-2) win over Lee Evans that gives him the lead on leg difference and head to head results. Evans also finished the day on 8 points and will be keen to reverse the standing with Baysal on Friday.
Robert Thornton continued his resurgence after a tough start to the week. The DartsWorld Ambassador picked up a couple of solid wins and sits third in the table. Mason Whitlock and Nathan Potter are tied with Thornton on 4 points but trail on leg difference. Mike Warburton is 2poinst further adrift at the foot of the table.

Group B is perhaps even tighter as Scotsman McEwan leads by a single leg from another DartsWorld representative, Jamai van den Herik, with both men only two points ahead of Jamie Lewis and Carl Batchelor. MSS stalwart Chas Barstow is struggling at the foot of the table and yet to pick up a win.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Aldridge in Saturday’s finale. Group C will commence from 1pm BST and Group B will commence from 10pm BST.
