The field for the latest Amateur Darts Circuit (ADC) major event, their UK & Ireland Classic, has now been finalised and it’s safe to say that finals day will be a titanic tungsten tussle.
The UK & Ireland Classic is considered the end-of-year major for the top-performing players across the ADC. Like a Players Championship Finals for the amateur player. The ADC’s Open Ranking System brings together the best of the best from every region — no gimmicks, no invites, just raw performance criteria.

Played on Saturday 17th October, the same weekend as the VAULT National Finals, this 32-man showdown will decide who truly dominated the year, with £3,000 to the winner and ultimate bragging rights to the annual champion.
The list of qualifiers is a fabulous mix between former big stage names, up and coming youngster stars and some amateur stalwarts of the highest quality.
Just a few that pop off the list include ‘Big Wille’ Borland, who hit an unforgettable 9-darter at Ally Pally, teenage prodigy Archie Self and grizzled open event veteran Johnny Haines.

If you want an outsider to follow on the day keep an eye on Shaun Fox, he has been in great shape over the past couple of years. Perhaps his constant knocking on the door will be rewarded this time?
