The penultimate weekend of Nordic & Baltic action came from Oslo, Norway, where the final three European Tour qualifiers took place, along with ProTour’s 9 & 10.
With the top two spots on the Order of Merit qualifying for the World Championships, along with the top 24 qualifying for the Nordic & Baltic Championships, there was a lot still to play for over the weekend.
ET13 Qualifier
The qualifier for the Flanders Darts Trophy took place on Friday afternoon, and it saw some shock runs with the reduced field of just 16 participants.
Of the four Semi-Finalists, only Johan Engström had previously qualified for a European Tour.The qualification was won by Denmark’s Michael Hansen, who was taking part in his very first European Tour qualifier, and had previously never made it past the Last 32 at a Nordic & Baltic Tour event.
He will debut on the European Tour in Antwerp next week.

ET14 Qualifier
Directly following the previous event, the qualifier for the Swiss Darts Trophy took place on Friday evening.
This event saw some familiar faces in the Final, as two players who have already taken to the European Tour stage took on each other for a spot in the field for Basel.
World Cup teammates Jani Haavisto and Jonas Masalin produced a high quality Final as Haavisto saw his way over the line, qualifying for a third European Tour event, and a second of the year.

PDC Nordic & Baltic Darts ProTour 9
Saturday was kicked off with the first ProTour event of the weekend. No real underdog runs in this event, other than Jakob Skovgård finding his way into the Last 16.
The story of the weekend came from Denmark’s Benjamin Drue Reus, who returned to action for the first time since Q-School in January, having lost his Tour Card at the end of 2025.
This was actually the very first event he took part in on the Nordic & Baltic Tour in his career, and he went all the way to win the title. This put him in a spot for the Nordic & Baltic Championships despite only playing one of the nine events in 2026!
The performance of the event came with a 103.16 average for Jani Haavisto in his Last 32 win over Anton Östlund.

ET15 Qualifier
Saturday’s action continued with the final European Tour qualifier of 2026, where the players faced off for a spot in the Dutch Darts Championship.
This saw a second consecutive all-Finnish final, where Jonas Masalin downed Teemu Harju for a spot in a third European Tour event of the year!
A brilliant return for Masalin, who was sat all the way down in 22nd in the ProTour Order of Merit, and had previously never qualified for a European Tour event.

Dekker fell in the Quarter-Final, but Daniel Larsson would go all the way to the final, overtaking the Norwegian to move top of the Order of Merit.
ProTour 10
The action in Oslo finished on Sunday with the final ProTour event of the weekend. With only one weekend left the results would get more and more important, so a loss in the Last 32 for 3rd place Jani Haavisto came as a big boost for both Cor Dekker and Daniel Larsson, who continued to move closer to a World Championship appearance.
However, the final was won by 5th place Oskar Lukasiak, who claimed a first title of 2026, increasing his record of one title per season to three consecutive years.

The Final weekend of Nordic & Baltic Tour action will take place in Estonia at the end of September, where they will host the final two ProTour’s of 2026.
This will be followed by the 2026 Nordic & Baltic Championship in Denmark at the end of October.The Order of Merit is follows, with the top 2 qualifying for the World Championships, and the top 24 for the Nordic & Baltic Championship.
