Greaves Dominates as Qualification Race Heats Up in Leicester

Diamond Draws Competitions

The 2026 PDC Women’s Series resumes this weekend with Events 17-20 at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester, marking the penultimate round of action before the season reaches its climax.

On August 22-23, the world’s leading female players will compete for vital ranking points as the race for World Darts Championship qualification intensifies. With only a handful of events remaining, every match carries extra significance for those chasing a place at Alexandra Palace in December.

Beau Greaves has been the standout performer on the circuit this year. The English star has already claimed 11 of the 16 events staged so far and added a third Women’s World Matchplay title to her collection in Blackpool last month, underlining her status as the clear frontrunner.

Fallon Sherrock, who finished runner-up to Greaves at the Matchplay, is also confirmed for Leicester and will be determined to close the gap.

Lancashire stalwart Lisa Ashton joins them in the field and remains on course to secure a sixth successive World Championship appearance later this year.
