The latest visit to the AIM180 Bunker sees Darts World and AJ take a closer look at Red Dragon’s new NitroFlite options, launched as part of the brand’s player range, and, in AJ’s words, the hidden gem of the most recent release.

Johnny Clayton Signature
The Clayton range brings the kite-shaped flight NitroFlite the Welshman has favoured for what feels like an eternity, and longtime followers of his setup have been asking Red Dragon to release for just as long.
It’s now available both as a standalone flight in all sizes and as part of the full Clayton set, complete with Switch Points powered by Winmau.
The Nitro system itself does its job well here, but the real character of the range is in the colour split across the flight, a small design choice that does a lot of work. This gives the eye a clear point of focus and makes those fine adjustments easier to read mid-throw.
The Dragon detailing marks it out unmistakably as a signature piece, and the balance it brings to the dart holds up in the hand as much as it does on paper.
Gerwyn Price Signature
If the Clayton range is the headline act, the Price signature is the one AJ rates as the real find of the launch. Built around a metal base, it has genuine heft and feel in the hand, and the aluminium body brings the dart down flatter in flight, a trait that plenty of throwers, AJ included, will find suits their game.
The silver and blue colourway, with the accent shade mirrored through the flight, finishes it off nicely. There’s a bit of history in that colour choice, too. Peter Wright has long been an advocate for blue flights, reportedly encouraging the youth players he works with to use them, on the basis that they stand out clearly against the board.

A Superb Edition To Your Darts Set Up
Between the two ranges, it’s the quality that stands out the most. Signature ranges can sometimes trade on name alone, but both of these hold their own on balance, build and finish.
For anyone starting out and looking to build their first setup around a proven signature range, either would make for a solid foundation.
