Live League: Suzuki shines but Painter leads.

Kevin Painter took the early lead on Tuesday, in winning four of his five matches on the first of two days of Group A, as Week 3 of Phase 2 commenced at the Online Darts Live League.

Former World Championship Finalist, Painter, made his first appearance at the Live League in 2022 by taking the early lead in Group A, winning four of his five matches on Day 1, as he recorded victories over Carl Wilkinson, Chris Quantock, Matthew Dennant and Scott Baker, with his only defeat coming against Mikuru Suzuki, denying him a clean sweep in his final game of the day.

Elsewhere, Suzuki, on debut at the Live League, ended the day in 2^nd on 6 points, as did Scott Baker, who sits behind on leg difference. Matthew Dennant and Chris Quantock sit 4^th and 5^th respectively on 4 points each, as Carl Wilkinson sits bottom on 2 points.

Online Darts Live League continues on Wednesday with the six players returning, hoping to secure their place in Saturday’s Finale, with Painter leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30 GMT and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
