Colin Osborne, better known as The Wizard, took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week 4 of Stage 2 commencing at the Modus Super Series.

Former UK Open Finalist, and regular Darts World contributor, Osborne, made his return to the Super Series, by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five, by recording victories over Nathan Girvan, Dan Read, Gavin Carlin, and Arron Monk, with his only defeat coming against Jelle Klaasen. 

The Wizard had picked up the winning habit again over the weekend with an excellent win at the Matsin Moor Miner Welfare event.

Elsewhere, Arron Monk and Jelle Klaasen both also ended the day on 8 points each but sit 2nd and 3rd respectively behind Osborne on leg difference, as Gavin Carlin, Dan Read, and Nathan Girvan sit 4th, 5th and 6th on 2 points each. 

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Osborne leading the way thus far.

Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
