Baetens’ Wednesday Winner

Andy Baetens secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Baetens, who entered Wednesday’s play on 18 points from the opening two days of Group A, won four matches from five to top the group overall, as he recorded victories against Geert De Vos, Leonard Gates, Luke Littler and James Richardson, with his only defeat coming against Chris Gilliland.

The Beast ends the week on 26 points from a possible 30 and with a record of 13 wins and only 2 losses from 15 games played.

Elsewhere, Luke Littler and Chris Gilliland will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Littler ending on 20 points and Gilliland on 16 points.

The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by David Cameron, Ciaran Teehan and Jordan Brooks.

Geert De Vos, James Richardson and Leonard Gates will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with De Vos and Richardson ending on 10 points each and Gates on 8 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Matt Clark, Lee Cocks and Harry Ward.

Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
