Bradly Roes took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning three of his five matches. The day also saw a Nine Dart Leg hit by Andreas Harrysson, during his victory against Toft-Jorgensen.
Week Six of Series Six commencing at the Modus Super Series with Roes, who last appeared at the Super Series back in September, making his return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning three of his five matches.
The Dutch talent recorded victories against John Henderson, Norbert Attard and Andreas Harrysson, with his two defeats coming against Andreas Toft-Jorgensen and Chris Wickenden, to sit on 6 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, three players in Andreas Toft-Jorgensen, Andreas Harrysson and Norbert Attard also ended the day on 6 points each, but sit 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively behind Roes on leg difference.
Former World Cup winner John Henderson sits in 5th on 4 points with Chris Wickenden bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Roes leading the way thus far.
