The Conqueror and Hendo Lead

Adrian Gray and John Henderson took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Andreas Harrysson in Saturday’s finale at the Modus Super Series.

Gray, who had yet appeared at the Super Series in 2023, made his return by taking the early lead in Group C, after winning three of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Andreas Toft-Jorgensen, Chris Wickenden and Justin Smith, with his two defeats coming against Scott Mitchell and Richie Howson.

Elsewhere, Scott Mitchell and Justin Smith also ended the day on 6 points each, but sit 2^nd and 3^rd respectively behind Gray on leg difference, whilst the remaining three players in Howson, Toft-Jorgensen and Wickenden sit 4^th, 5^th and 6^th on 4 points each.

In Group B, John Henderson took the early lead, after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four, as he recorded victories against Alec Small, Haupai Puha, Bradly Roes and David Schlichting.

Elsewhere, Puha ended the evening in 2^nd on 6 points, Roes in 3^rd on 4 points, Small in 4^th on 2 points and Schlichting bottom on 0 points, having suffered four defeats from four.

Modus Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Andreas Harrysson in Saturday’s finale, with Gray and Henderson taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 1pm GMT and Group B will commence from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
