Kristiaan De Boer Into MSS Finale

Kristiaan De Boer secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, despite only winning two of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

De Boer, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall, after winning two matches from five and recording victories against Mareno Michels and JT Davis, with his three defeats coming against Lisa Ashton, Scott Walters and Steven Plumstead, to end on 20 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Mareno Michels and Scott Walters will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall on 16 points each and will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Series Five Champion Jim McEwan, as well as Tony O’Shea and Wayne Jones.

JT Davis, Lisa Ashton and Steven Plumstead will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Davis and Ashton ending on 14 points each and Plumstead on 10 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Kevin Painter, Mark Dudbridge and Ricky Palmer.

Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT.
