Tom Sykes took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as Champions Week of Series Six commenced at the Modus Super Series.
Sykes, who entered Champions Week having won Week 10 just a couple of weeks ago, began his Group A campaign by taking the early lead, after winning all five of his matches.
Sykes recorded victories against Wayne Jones, Chas Barstow, Scott Taylor, Andy Boulton and Cam Crabtree, dropping just six legs across the day.
Elsewhere, Scott Taylor ended the day in 2nd on 8 points, whilst Andy Boulton and Chas Barstow sit 3rd and 4th respectively on 4 points each, with Cam Crabtree and Wayne Jones sitting 5th and 6th on 2 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Sykes leading the way thus far.
