MSS Clean Sweeps for Nash Duff and Allen

Terry Nash, Neil Duff and Antony Allen all won 4 of their 5 opening matches in Group C at the MODUS Super Series, as the race to join Jim McEwan at Finals Night began. 

In Group B, Belgian international Timothy Verbrugghe tops the table on legs difference from 2^nd placed Noa-Lynn van Leuven, after both players picked up 3 wins on Day 4. 

ADC Qualifier Nash tops the Group C table on legs won ahead of 2^nd placed Antony Allen, with the top 2 in the group securing places at Saturday’s Finals Night. 

Former Lakeside World Champion Neil Duff, who came into Thursday’s action on the back of three days in Group A, made the perfect start as he picked up wins in his first three matches.

“Duff Man”’s only defeat came against 2^nd placed Antony Allen who picked up a 4-2 win, before the Northern Irishman pinned a 96 average in a 4-2 win over Paul Lewis, hitting a 126 check out on double 6. 

Daniel Stephenson, Brian Raman and Paul Lewis all picked up a win a piece, after the opening day of Group C action in Portsmouth. 

Timothy Verbrugghe will head into Friday’s action as the Group B leader, after qualifying via a 2^nd place finish in Group A earlier in the week. 

The ADC Europe Qualifier saved his best for last, defeating Jon Worsley 4-1 with an average of 97.56, whilst missing just three darts on the outer ring. 

Noa-Lynn van Leuven was the only player to beat Verbrugghe on Day 4, with Scott Taylor denying the Dutch international a perfect debut in the final match of the session. 

The former Champions Week winner averaged 99.17 in a 4-2 win, hitting a 121 finish on the bullseye to break in the 5^th leg. 

Scott sits 4^th in the table behind Jon Worsley in 3^rd on legs difference, whilst Gibraltar’s Craig Galliano waits for his first points of Group B ahead of the final session.
