Bookies Debate Littler Surpassing ‘The Power’.

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

Although there is plenty of hype surrounding Luke Littler and his remarkable teenage darting exploits, the idea of the teenage wunderkind surpassing the legendary Phil Taylor is treated with a healthy scepticism by the bookies.

Littler has been installed as the 5/4 favourite to retain his Premier League Darts title in 2025, as well as the 11/8 to follow up and win the 2026 World Darts Championship.

After filling out the runner-up spot in last month’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award, Littler is the even-money favourite to go one better in 2025.

However even following his 2025 World Darts Championship triumph, Luke Littler is now still 40/1 to break the 16 world titles record set by Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor in his career with William Hill.

“Luke Littler’s victory in the 2025 World Darts Championship shows that he’s here to stay, and because he has time on his side, we go 40/1 that he will break Phil Taylor’s world record of 16 World Championships.

“Many never saw The Power’s record coming under threat, but Littler’s ability is frightening, and he could well start to rack up world titles.

“We can’t see past him in the upcoming Premier League, he’s the 5/4 favourite for the competition, and he is priced at 11/8 to make it a consecutive Ally Pally success in 2026.”
