The final 16 players, including Justin Hood, Jason Heaver and Damian Mol, secured automatic spots into the Final Stage of their respective Qualifying School’s on Wednesday, after coming through on the decisive day of Stage One.
The remaining spots going to players via two separate Order of Merit’s, headlined by ‘Queen of the Palace’ Fallon Sherrock, Former Lakeside Champion Richie Burnett and New Zealand star Ben Robb.
UK Q School
Former Challenge Tour Event winner, Justin Hood, headlined the final eight automatic qualifiers through to the Final Stage of UK Q School, as ‘Happy Feet’ recorded victories against Mark Boardman, Fallon Sherrock, Jarred Cole, Kirk De Ruyter and Chas Barstow, as he looks to win a Tour Card for the first time in his career.
Former Tour Card Holder, Jason Heaver, was also amongst those who secured automatic
qualification through to the Final Stage, as he recorded victories on the day against Kevin
Leadenham, Alfie Smith, Adrian Gray, Ryan Harrington and Keenan Thomas, with ‘Tsunami’ looking to regain his professional status having lost his tour privileges at the end of 2022.
Elsewhere, the further six automatic qualifiers included English trio in Nathan Potter, Nicholas Ellis and Ryan O’Connor, as well as Wales’ Alex Williams, Scotland’s Colin Gibson and Ireland’s Ultan McDyer.
As for the UK Order of Merit Qualifiers, they were headlined by ‘The Queen of the Palace’
Fallon Sherrock, 1995 Lakeside World Champion Richie Burnett, as well as the likes of Mark
McGeeney, Alan Norris and Jarred Cole.
European Q School
Former Tour Card Holder, Damian Mol, headlined the final eight automatic qualifiers through to the Final Stage of European Q School, as the Dutchman recorded victories against Felix Schmitt, Tytus Kanik, Manuel Gutjahr, Daniel Racoveanu and Jeroen Caron, with the 26-year-old looking to regain his professional status having lost it at the end of 2023.
Elsewhere, the further seven automatic qualifiers included Mol’s fellow compatriots in Davy Proosten, Dennie Olde Kalter and Angelo Balsamo, as well as France’s Nicolas Thuillier, Spain’s Angel Rodriguez, Germany’s Maximilian Czerwinski and Switzerland’s Bruno Stoeckli.
Headlining the 82 qualifiers via the European Order of Merit included New Zealand star Ben Robb, Former Challenge Tour Event winner Oskar Lukasiak, as well as the likes of Rusty-Jake Rodriguez, Brian Raman and Franz Roetzsch.
2025 PDC Qualifying School continues on Thursday, in the UK and in Europe, with the beginning of the Final Stage with one automatic Tour Card up for grabs across both fields, as play commences in Europe at 12:00 CET and in the UK at 12:00 GMT.
