Greaves Returns in Style to Sweep Sunday’s Double-Header in Leicester

Diamond Draws Competitions

BEAU Greaves returned to the PDC Women’s Series with back-to-back titles on Sunday at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester, claiming Events 19 and 20 to extend her remarkable dominance and further stretch her lead at the top of the Order of Merit.

After missing Saturday’s action — when Lisa Ashton and Fallon Sherrock shared the spoils — the Doncaster star wasted no time reasserting her authority.

Greaves defeated Ashton 5-3 in the Event 19 final before completing a clinical double with a 5-0 whitewash of Aileen de Graaf in Event 20.

Event 19: Greaves Edges Ashton

Greaves’ path to the first title of the day was characteristically efficient. She produced a 96.30 average in a 5-1 quarter-final win and then overcame Kirsty Hutchinson 5-2 in the semi-finals.

Waiting in the final was Ashton, who had earlier produced a superb 90.54 average to whitewash Jo Locke 5-0.

The final proved a high-quality contest. Greaves averaged 84.55 to Ashton’s 81.28 and closed out a 5-3 victory, claiming her 12th title of the 2026 season and moving to £32,200 on the rankings.

Event 20: Clinical Finish Completes the Double

Greaves was even more dominant in the second event of the day. She dismantled Angela Kirkwood 5-0 in the quarter-finals and then dispatched Karolina Ratajska 5-1 in the semi-finals.

In the other half of the draw, Aileen de Graaf produced a strong run, defeating Fallon Sherrock 5-3 in the last eight and Jo Locke 5-1 in the semi-finals to reach the final.

The decider was one-sided. Greaves averaged over 91 and completed a 5-0 whitewash of the Dutch player to secure her 59th career Women’s Series title and complete a perfect Sunday.

Womens Series Darts Rankings and Context

The results leave Greaves firmly in control of the Order of Merit on £32,200-plus. Ashton remains clear in second, with Sherrock third.

Gemma Hayter, Vicky Pruim and Deta Hedman continue to occupy the next places in what remains a competitive battle for the remaining World Championship qualification spots.

Greaves’ return after sitting out Saturday underlined once again why she remains the outstanding player on the circuit.

With four events still to play in October, the focus for the rest of the field will be on closing the gap and securing those crucial Ally Pally places.

Sunday’s double success means Greaves leaves Leicester with two more titles and an even stronger grip on the 2026 Women’s Series.

The next — and final — block of events takes place in Wigan in October.
