Robert Thornton and Aden Kirk took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Jeff Smith in Saturday’s Finale at the Modus Super Series darts.
In Group B, Aden Kirk took the early lead after completing a clean sweep with four wins four on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Gemma Hayter, Michael Wiles, Radek Szaganski and Jamie Atkins, to sit on a maximum 8 points from a possible 8 thus far.
Elsewhere, Jamie Atkins ended the night in 2nd on 6 points, Michael Wiles in 3rd on 4 points, Radek Szaganski in 4th on 2 points and Gemma Hayter bottom on 0 points having suffered four straight defeats.

Thornton, who entered Group C having finished bottom of Group A earlier in the week, took the early lead after winning three of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Harry Ward, Nico Plovier and Jamie Kelling, with his two defeats coming against Petri Rasmus and Jim Widmayer, to sit on 6 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Petri Rasmus and Nico Plovier also ended the day on 6 points each, but sit 2nd and 3rd respectively behind Thornton on leg difference, whilst the remaining three players in Harry Ward, Jamie Kelling and Jim Widmayer sit 4th, 5th and 6th on 4 points each.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Jeff Smith in Saturday’s Finale, with Thornton and Kirk taking the early lead thus far.
Group C will commence from 1pm BST and Group B will commence from 10pm BST.
