Ted Evetts took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, with Week Five of Series Ten commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Evetts, who last appeared at the Super Series back in November, made a perfect return by winning all five of his matches, as he recorded victories against Ektoras Stylianou, Darren Brown, David Wawrzewski, Reece Colley and Kurt Parry, to sit on a maximum 10 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, three players in Kurt Parry, Reece Colley and Darren Brown ended the day 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively on 6 points each, whilst David Wawrzewski sits in 5th on 2 points and Ektoras Stylianou bottom on 0 points, having suffered five straight defeats on debut.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Evetts leading the way thus far.
