Klingelhofer Claims MSS Lead

Patrick Klingelhofer moved to the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two and looks to secure his place in Saturday’s MODUS Super Series finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Klingelhofer, who entered Tuesday’s play on 4 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five to go top of the table, as he recorded victories against David Airey, Scott Campbell, John O’Shea and Steven Johnstone, with his only defeat coming against Justin Smith, to sit on 12 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Scott Campbell and Justin Smith are the closest competitors to Klingelhofer with the pair sitting 2^nd and 3^rd respectively on 12 points each and just behind due to leg difference, whilst John O’Shea sits in 4^th on 10 points, Steven Johnstone in 5^th on 8 points and David Airey bottom on 6 points.

The MODUS Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Klingelhofer leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
