Scott Campbell and Justin Smith took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Patrick Klingelhofer in Saturday’s finale at the MODUS Super Series.
Campbell, who last appeared at the Super Series back in August, made his return by taking the early lead in Group C after winning four of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Peter Jacques, David Airey, David Wawrzewski and Steven Johnstone, with his only defeat coming against Jonathan Platt, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Steven Johnstone and David Wawrzewski ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Peter Jacques and David Airey sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with Jonathan Platt sitting bottom on 2 points.

In Group B, Justin Smith took the early lead after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Steve West, Charlie Manby, John O’Shea and Jamie Durrant, to sit on 8 points from a possible 8 thus far.
Elsewhere, Charlie Manby ended the night in 2nd on 6 points, whilst the remaining three players in Steve West, John O’Shea and Jamie Durrant sit 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively on 2 points each.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Patrick Klingelhofer in Saturday’s finale, with Campbell and Smith taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 1pm GMT and Group B will commence from 10pm GMT.
