West Bests Group A at MODUS Super Series Darts

Steve West secured his place in Saturday’s Finale on Wednesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Steve, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning all five of his matches as he recorded victories against Joe Heywood, Benito Van de Pas, Glenn de Bois, Neil Duff and Johnny Haines, to end on 26 points from a possible 30 overall.

Elsewhere, Benito Van de Pas and Neil Duff will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall on 16 points each. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Simon Stevenson, Paul Hogan and Carl Wilkinson.

Johnny Haines, Joe Heywood and Glenn de Bois will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Haines ending on 16 points, Heywood on 12 points and De Bois on 4 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Reece Colley, Kevin Edwards and Billy Leonard.

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
