The inaugural staging saw Kevin Painter and Pauline Dyer emerge triumphant, establishing a tradition of excellence which has endured ever since. Heading into the 2026 edition, Scottish representatives Jim McEwan and Sophie McKinley return as the reigning Open and Women’s champions respectively, each seeking to preserve their supremacy against what promises to be another fiercely competitive field.
In keeping with long-standing custom, the event will once again incorporate its Youth tournaments, offering the next generation of talent an invaluable opportunity to showcase their burgeoning abilities. Twelve months ago, Mason Teese and Ruby Grey captured the respective titles, adding their names to an ever-expanding catalogue of emerging stars.

It is there that players and spectators alike will congregate between Friday 5th to Sunday 7th June for another celebration of tungsten excellence.
