The last remaining places at the 2026 WDF World Championship will be decided on the biggest stage of all, with the iconic Lakeside set to stage the final-chance darts qualifiers on Sunday 1 November.
This is the second and final qualifying event of the year. The first took place in Las Vegas in July during World Masters week, where Berry Pater, Liam Maendl-Lawrance, Sophie McKinlay, Ben Townley, Addison Hefferon and Celina Glaser all secured their Lakeside berths.

Six spots are still up for grabs: two in the Open, two in the Open Youth, and one each in the Women’s and Girls events. Successful players will not only book their tickets to the World Championship but will also get an early taste of the famous Frimley Green venue that has been home to the BDO/WDF World Championship for generations.

The qualifiers form part of a full weekend of action at the proclaimed Home of World Darts. Saturday 31 October will see the Silver-graded Lakeside Open – the final senior ranking event of the 2025/26 season – with more than £8,000 in prize money on offer.
Results from that tournament will play a crucial role in determining the last ranking and race-table places for the 2026 World Championship. Youth and Girls ranking events will also take place across the weekend.
Although listed as Bronze on the WDF calendar, their final grading will depend on the number of entries received.
