Odds Against MVG Hattrick

Red Dragon Darts

AHEAD of Night 4 of the PDC Premier League we’re looking at some of title sponsor BetMGM’s odds prior to Thursday’s fixtures in Newcastle.  Luke Littler will be aiming to win his first Premier League round in Newcastle and he starts the night as favourite, priced at 5/2.

After back to back wins in Berlin and Glasgow, Michael Van Gerwen will be aiming to win a highly unusual third successive round. He is priced at 7/2 while week one winner Michael Smith is priced at 9/1.

There is still value to be had in predicting that Peter Wright’s improvement will translate into victory over Littler and for the night overall.

Fixtures

  • Michael Smith faces Nathan Aspinall in the opening quarter final round of the night. After both player’s lost their quarter final fixtures last week, they’ll be looking to return to form with wins this week. Smith starts the match as favourite priced at 7/10 whilst Aspinall is priced at 11/10 to advance to the semi finals.
  • Current world champion, Luke Humphries will be looking to beat Rob Cross in his quarter final fixture. He is priced at 12/25 whilst Cross is available at 8/5 to get the victory.
  • Peter Wright will be looking for his first Premier League win of the season as he faces Luke Littler in the quarter final stage. Littler starts as odds on favourite at 1/6 with Wright available at 15/4.
  • The quarter final action is rounded off with an intriguing match up as Gerwyn Price takes on Michael Van Gerwen. Dutchman Van Gerwen starts as a 4/6 favourite and Price is available at 11/10.
  • We nearly saw two nine dart finishes last week in Glasgow with both Gerwyn Price and Nathan Aspinall missing double 12 for the perfect leg of darts. It’s 8/1 for a nine darter to be thrown in Newcastle this week.

Night winner

  • Luke Littler – 5/2
  • Luke Humphries – 7/2
  • Michael Van Gerwen – 7/2
  • Gerwyn Price – 6/1
  • Rob Cross – 8/1
  • Michael Smith – 9/1
  • Nathan Aspinall – 11/1
  • Peter Wright – 40/1

It’s been a thrilling start to the BetMGM Premier League season and we’re set for another unmissable night of darts as the sport’s biggest roadshow heads to Newcastle this week.

World number one, Luke Humphries will be looking to cement his position in the top four as he chases his first Premier League night win, while Peter Wright and Nathan Aspinall will be looking to get off the mark with victories this Thursday.

Michael Van Gerwen’s start to the campaign has been mightily impressive as he chases a record breaking eighth title and he’ll be looking to win a third consecutive round.
