THREE Midlands teams are preparing for the eighth and seventh rubbers of their respective UKDA National League Divisions.

WARWICKSHIRE County Darts Organisation will be looking to make it four wins in a row this coming weekend when at the Hen Lane and District Social Club. The Bears will be playing hosts to Humberside in what will be their eighth fixture of the season in the Cosmo Darts Premier Division of the UKDA National League.

Currently fourth in the table with 145 points Warwickshire’s confidence will be sky-high following their previous outing when they won 20-16 playing away against Yorkshire who are second in the league, a win over Humberside, who are bottom of the division with ninety-five points from six games, should be just the fixture they require to see them move even higher up the table.

Warwickshire welcome three new members to the squad, Leigh Dells, Jnr Joyce and Mark Faulkner who all will be hoping to make their debut’s before the season runs out.

Selected to play for Warwickshire are  Men’s ‘A’:- Jamie Atkins, Gareth Braham, Kevin Dowling, Noel Grant, Nigel Heydon, Steve Hine, Jamie Hughes, Wayne Mynard ( Pictured), Jenson Walker, Jack Wareing, Matty Washbrooke, Sam Whittaker, Men’s ‘B’:- Mark Carter, Adam Hancock, Dave Hill, Scott Hope, Mark Martin, Lee Miller, Will Naylor, Sam Price, Karl Reynolds, Noah Rose, Mark Strong, Martin Tonks, Reserves:- Leigh Dells, Mark Faulkner, Pete Hughes, Jnr Joyce, Women’s ‘A’:- Kirsty Hinchcliffe, Marian Conway, Natalie Gilbert, Courtney Hine, Hannah Meek, Donna Pinch, Women’s ‘B’:- Wendy Adams, Nina Bolt, Angela Jones, Denise Keyte, Chloe McKivett-Saunders, Caroline Pike, Reserve:- Melanie Jones, Lucy Keyte, Kris Meek, Kat Spanswick.

Things don’t get any easier for WEST MIDLANDS County Darts Organisation in the Andy Wheeler Fisheries Championship of the UKDA National League, currently after having played one game more and only nine points to the good on next to bottom of the division Oxfordshire, this coming weekend they will take on an in-form London team and although they have home advantage it will still be a tough task to beat their second placed opponents who have forty-one points more than them and are six places above them in the table.

After a somewhat disappointing home draw with Somerset in their last outing in the L-Style Division One of the UKDA National League BLACK COUNTRY will be hoping to chalk up a win this coming weekend when they travel to take on Buckinghamshire. Going into the game Black Country are sixth on 146 points with their hosts eighth with 125 points, a win could possibly see them move up the table and nearer the number one spot, a position they held earlier in the season.
