Evans Stretches To Overcome Beaton in MSS Finale

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

David Evans was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week 11 at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Steve Beaton in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly top prize.

Evans, who entered the finale having won Group A earlier in the week, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches, as he came through deciding leg victories against Dan Astbury and Steve Beaton to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he then came up against Conor Heneghan, and from there, Evans came through a last leg decider to defeat the Irishman, 4-3, and book his place in the final.

In the decider, Evans came up against Steve Beaton for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Jason Heaver in the last four, and once again, ‘Stretch’ defeated ‘The Bronzed Adonis’ 4-3 to seal a place at Champions Week, as well as collecting the first prize.

The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week 12, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including John Henderson, Keegan Brown and Christian Perez. Play will commence from 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
