Thibault Tricole took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week 3 of Stage 2 commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Tricole, who recently won a PDC Challenge Tour Event, made his return to the Super Series by taking the early lead in Group A, as he recorded victories over Martin Adams, Jesus Noguera, Matt Jackson and Robert Thornton, with his only defeat coming against Andy Hamilton.
Elsewhere, three players in Martin Adams, Jesus Noguera and Andy Hamilton all sit 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively on 6 points each, with Matt Jackson and Robert Thornton sat 5th and 6th on 2 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Tricole leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
