Keegan Brown, Scott Baker, Andreas Harrysson, Tommy Lishman and Steve West all secured their places into Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series, to join Derek Coulsen, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Brown, who entered Friday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as he recorded victories against Jon Worsley, Tonni Sorensen, Robbie King, Barry Copeland and Scott Baker, to end on 18 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Scott Baker also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 14 points, edging out Jon Worsley, who also ended on 14 points, but missed out in 3rd due to legs won across two days of play, whilst Tonni Sorensen finished 4th on 8 points, Barry Copeland in 5th on 4 points and Robbie King bottom on 2 points.
In Group B, Andreas Harrysson topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Kevin Edwards, Steve West, Tommy Lishman and Kevin Painter, to end on 14 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Tommy Lishman and Steve West also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Lishman ending on 10 points and West on 8 points, whilst Kevin Edwards and Kevin Painter finished 4th and 5th on 4 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Nine with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
