Shot Darts have bolstered their growing roster with another high-calibre addition, unveiling William O’Connor as the mystery silhouette teased across their social media channels.
It represents a significant coup for the New Zealand company, who already boast a formidable line-up including major PDC champions such as Michael Smith and Ritchie Edhouse, alongside emerging talents like Niels Zonneveld and Bradley Brooks, not to mention a strong contingent of ANZAC stars.

O’Connor’s move follows his recent departure from Winmau, bringing an end to a long and successful partnership. Speculation around the Irishman’s next destination had been building, and it is Shot Darts who have ultimately secured his signature.
Can Darts’ Magpie Fly Higher With Shot?
Still just shy of 40, the Limerick native has been one of the most reliable performers on the PDC Pro Tour for the best part of a decade. Despite his undeniable quality, he has just a single ranking title to his name, though that statistic hardly reflects his consistency, with numerous deep runs and high-level performances underlining his credentials.

On the televised stage, some of O’Connor’s most memorable moments have come in the colours of Ireland, where he partnered Steve Lennon to reach the final of the PDC World Cup of Darts.
Individually, he has also enjoyed notable success, including a run to the semis of the UK Open, as well as quarter-final appearances at both the European Championship and Players Championship Finals.
