Belgians Retain International Pairs Lead

Belgian darts pair  maintained their position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of their five matches for Team Belgium on Day Two and looks to secure their place in Saturday’s Finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday. 

Baetens & Raman, who entered Tuesday’s play on 6 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five to remain at the top of the table, as they recorded victories against Richie Burnett & Kurt Parry (Wales), Scott Campbell & Jim McEwan (Scotland), Neil Duff & Richard McKee (Northern Ireland) and Conor Heneghan & John O’Shea (Ireland), with their only defeat coming against David Munyua & Peter Wachuiri (Kenya), to sit on 14 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Team Scotland are the closest competitors to Team Belgium, with Campbell & McEwan sitting in 2nd overall on 12 points, whilst Team Wales & Team Ireland sit 3rd and 4th respectively on 10 points each, with Team Kenya sitting 5th on 8 points & Team Northern Ireland bottom on 6 points.  

The MODUS Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Baetens & Raman leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.

Play will be streamed on Pluto TV with highlights and other coverage on the MODUS Super Series YouTube channel, or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
